Highlighted Lewis Resource of the Week:
by David C. Downing
This is a unique look at Lewis’ life that focuses chiefly on the time before, during and after his conversion. So it isn’t a general biography, but a detailed examination on how he came to the Christian faith.
The answer to yesterday’s questions are:
ReplyDeleteQ238: Spenser's Images of Life came out in 1967 and was based on lectures from the late 50's that Lewis gave on Spenser's The Faerie Queene (it was edited by Alastair Fowler who was once Lewis' student).
B6: The Narnia books were first published in this order:
1.) LWW, 2.) PC, 3.) VDT, 4.) SC, 5.) HHB 6.) MN and 7.) LB
The first book came out in 1950 and the last one was 1956.
